Canon G9 camera videos too large to e-mail
Hi, my videos taken with my canon G9 camera are too large to e-mail, the last one I took about 1 - 1 1/2 minutes long was 75 mb ?
    Thanks

Video files are always very large. Email is not an appropriate way to transfer or share them. You can either upload them to a video sharing site like YouTube or use a file sharing service like SendSpace. You can also resize the video to a lower resolution and smaller file size, but this is a much more complicated process than simply uploading and sharing the files via one of the two suggestions above.

Depends on what kind of connection to the internet you have. If you are on dialup, no setting on the camera will make the videos small enough to send through email.

If you have broadband of some sort.. DSL, WiFi etc... I suggest you set the cameras quality settings to the lowest, for both pictures and videos. They will look fine. THe higher settings are primarily for video and picture editing, and don't actually make the image look better on a computer screen.
