Can I get money from frozen act back?
My husband and I have back medical bills that went to collection. We never disputed we owed the money. I contacted collection agency to give the name and address of employer for garnishment. We are both working and wanted it paid off.

My husbands check is to have 15% taken out. We were planning for that. Our problem is, having direct deposit, it was taken out of bank before he got off work.

I filed a hearing to dispute, but I do owe the money. I just can't support out kids with no income.

Ok, first, they could not have gotten the bank account frozen (or get a garnishment) without obtaining a judgement. Why did you let it get that far? Why didn't you negotiate a settlement?

At this point, I fear its too late. They have the judgement, they can take what they want from your bank accounts then garnish his salary.
