206 dash lights up but won't start and stranded. Maybe immobillisor?
Hi, all dash board lights come on and have charged bater and still nothing. Tried bump starting and jump starting. Aparently it maybe the immobilliser but I'm stranded unless I get it going! Not even tuning over, just lighting up on dash board.

    Please help!

If you know the battery is good, the next step is to test all under-hood and under-dash fuses with a test light or multimeter:

    KISS

Battery being good is a tough one. Age of the battery adds some credibility to the cause. Just because it's charged and the lights work, doesn't mean the battery is good.

There are times that I've disconnected the battery and started using another vehicle and placed the connection back on the bad battery.

Other times, I've charged a battery with a good car for 20 minutes before starting the vehicle.

It's a lot of trouble to dig out the battery tester/charger at times.

Measuring the series resistance of the battery is one of the better ways of determining battery health.

Factory immobilizers don't usually prevent cranking.
