    Internet Data Transmission Statistics
Does anyone know of a site or source that tracks the total amount of data transmitted over the internet?

Ideally, I'd like to have it over time or some way of systematically tracking it, possibly by geography, as well.

    Thanks!

    Hi, newmanea!

I don't know of any one site that tracks the data that's transmitted over the entire Internet. Hopefully, someone will come along who does know about the specific sites because of their particular expertise and experience.

I do know that there are a number of sites that keep track of the statistics for some other sites. Perhaps what you find via clicking on the following searches will be helpful to you? I hope that it is!

Internet Site Statistics - Google Search

    Internet Statistics - Google Search

Internet Statistics - Google Image Search

The following site, in particular, might yield some useful information. Don't know.

Internet Usage World Stats - Internet and Population Statistics

    Thanks!

It isn't possible to track ALL the data on the 'net as there are so many private networks in the whole make up.
You can get some ideas of traffic to certain sites and maybe an idea about other data, bit not a total and certainly not trackable by time and location.
