    BAD smell in kitchen?
OK, here is my situation. I live in a condo, 1 floor and we also have a townhouse above us. There is an awful foul smell coming from our kitchen. At first we thought it was garbage accidentally thrown in the trash can. But it is not. It seems to be coming from under the cabinets next to the refrigerator. The problem is I can not pinpoint where it is coming from. Any ideas would be really helpful.

Looked and cleaned the refrigerator, did not look behind it yet, and also cleaned out the cabinets under where it seems to smell the worst. Nothing has helped yet. Thanks in advance to any suggestions.

Could be a dead rat or other animal. They do smell bad. It could also be the guy upstairs.

Does it have a dead mouse smell? Or sour? Have you removed the vent at the bottom of the refrigerator and checked the overflow pan? One time I had the same trouble and it was the pan. Sometimes things get spilt and wind up in that pan. Just pull it out, clean it and put it back. Hope this helps

You didn't describe the odor that you were noticing. There is most likely a dead mouse somewhere in your walls or refirgerator, under the stove or under the cabinet?
