Fan stopped working--is it remote? Or fan?
We had two Harbor Breeze ceiling fans installed. We used two separate remotes. After a month, suddenly one of them stopped working. We switched the batteries and it still did not work, so it is not the battery. What do we do? How do we find out if it is the remote or something inside the fan. This is after only a month. What should we do? Help!

    1. Do they have pullchains?

    2. Set the dip switches of the working remote to match the non-working remote. Does it now control the non-working fan?

Thanks. But it did not work. We called Harbor Breeze and they are sending us a new receiver. We hope it works! The lady seemed to know what I was talking about the second I started, so maybe this is a common problem, and MAYBE this is the solution.

It is a common problem, receivers fail all the time. If you tried what I suggested with the remotes and it did not work, that more or less confirms the receiver.
