    Commercial cleaning
    I read the answers for the commercial cleaning, but I was still left with a question. I have 10 years of experience with residential, and new construction cleaning, and I've decide to venture out into commercial cleaning. What's the going rate for office building cleaning in the New Orleans, and Slidell, Louisiana area. I don't won't to step out with improper information. Thanks.

    I don't think you are going to get a viable answer here, although in those "cleaning threads" there have been suggestions made.

    There are simply too many variables;

    Areas of the country have different pricing depending on the economy and the competition in that area.

    Is the area mostly open area? Is it congested with people, desks, cubicles, tables, etc?

    Is it 3, 5, 6, 7 days per week cleaning, this also determines pricing. If you clean 3 days per week that means more work when you do clean, to make up for the days that you didn't, trash and dirt build up over this time period.

    Possibly one chance is to find the monthly price for a building that is presently being cleaned by a competitor. Take that price and divide it by the know "cleanable" square footage. That will give you somewhat of a template to begin with. And make adjustments for the things I mentioned above.

    All the above and more culminate in proper pricing.
