    balancing chemical equations
I need help balancing these chemical word equations:

    1) Potassium chloride solution + silver nitrate solution = silver chloride precipitate + potassium nitrate solution
    2) Solid calcium oxide + water = aqueous calcium hydroxide
    3) Sodium hydroxide solution + hydrochloric acid = sodium chloride solution + water
    4) Aqueous magnesium bromide + chlorine gas = aqueous magnesium chloride + bromine gas
    5) Sodium chloride solution + aquesous sulfuric acid = sodium sulfate solution + hydrogen chloride gas
    6) Aluminum metal + solid iron (III) oxide = sodium aluminum oxide and iron metal
    7) hexane(C6H14) is burned to make carbon dioxide and water.
    8) silver nitrate solution + solid nickel = aqueous nickel (II) nitrate + solid silver
    9) hydrogen gas + nitrogen gas = ammonia (NH3) gas.

Help you can get. But first you have to do some basic part of your homework yourself!

Provide below the formulas for each item in all 9 reactions (instead of their names).
Than I (or someone else) will assist you in advicing how to balance these equations.

    :)

First of all, write their formulae! It's easier, and helps you a lot.

Yes it does. However many posters seem to think that others can and will do their homework for them !
