We have a Maytag Model # MSD24***R side by side refrigerator. Ice forms on the bottom of the freezer and then leaks on the floor. How do you repair the problem?

Please inspect the hose from the bottom part of the freezer section to the drain pan. It could be obstructed that is why then water is overflowing to the front of the freezer and then to the floor.

You stated that the freezer is full of ice?. do you experience a rise in temperature at the refrigerator area?. if so, then you could have a defrost cycle problem. If not then it could just be s simple drain problem.
