    Inequality analyzing
I tried and tried to understand the problem but I still couldn't get it.

The length of a rectangle is 8 cm. longer than its width. If each dimension were 4 cm greater, the area would be no less than 128m^2 more. Find the least dimension of the rectangle.

    Let x-the width
    Let x+8-the length

I couldn't form the inequality with this, so help... I have no problems with solving, it's the analyzing... :(
You don't really need to solve... =]
    thanks.

The inequality is in the phrase "the area would be no less than 128m^2 more." Another way to say this is: "the area would be equal to or greater than the original area plus 128 cm^2." So you get an equation like this:

Area of large rectangle >= Area of original rectangle + 128

    Hope this helps.
