    Bathtub overflow drain
I'm replacing a tub that has no overflow drain. Does the UPC require that a tub have an overflow drain?

    Thanks!

an overflow is not required on a bath tub per code. You can block off the overflow if you so desire but as a safety feature to prevent the tub from overflowing accidentally this is of course not a good idea.
We have UPC plumbers on this page that might like to chime in. Milo, Mygirlsdad ? Where are you? Regards, Tom
