Hi

My tolilet tank (cistern) takes a long time to refill, over 5 minutes, the water release to refill the tank is very slow. Any suggestions/resolutions would be appreciated.

I have the round ballcock, #1 in the secod diagram.

You have a regular ballcock. Sop this. Shut the water voff to the tank, remove the three screws and pull the float ball and stem assembly up. Place a can over the top of the ballcock and turn the water back on. Do you get a strong stream? No? Then Poke a wire down through the open ballcock. If you run into any obstruction then replace the ballcock. Good luck, Tom
