Blower at bottom of furnace never blows, but small blower up top comes on before burner lights and after it goes out it stays on for about 4-5 minuetes? Please help it is cold here in Michigan!!

Sorry no phone calls. I only help out here when I have the time and the phone is a pain. I would look on the wiring diagram on the back of the furnace blower door and trace the wiring to the limit switch. Test switch and replace if defective. The furnace MUST have a limit switch installed. There might be another problem that will shop up during testing and this problem could have caused the limit switch to become defective to start with. If you do not know what you are doing call a pro for ON Site service.

A limit switch is a safety device designed to not allow the furnace to overheat and cause a possible fire.

Did you check the limit switch(they are round with a wire on each side and should have a button on the top.push the button down, you should have 4 limit switches on the furnace 3 should be by the burners and 1 should be by the blower. If that does not work call me 330-239-2644 and I will walk you threw the furnace.
