I have the pilot on, electrical on, the fan works, the filters are clean, the thermostat is working properly, yet the burner will not ignite. The furnace worked just fine last night.

Exact model number of furnace?
7970c856 coleman direct vent forced air furnace
Sounds like a mobile home unit
Is the HEAT-on-A/C switch set to heat? The switch is located on the box in front of the blower
Check to see if you are getting 24 volts to the gas valve when the unit is supposed to be in heat mode.
Did you check the wiring on the board? Also check wiring at the pilot
Everything looks normal. I am not an HVAC person or electrician. I installed this unit 4 years ago and it has always worked well. The wiring looks fine.
I've got to ask a dumb question here. Do you actually have gas? You say Coleman furnace, and I'm thinking... for a motorhome? Is it a propane furnace? If so, go out to your tank and open the hood at the top and look at the gauge to see what percentage of gas is in the tank.
IS this unit installed in a house? You stated that it is a Coleman furnace,is this a two stage furnace?
This is a mobile home. I have natural gas and the pilot is working properly. The gas valve is on. This morning I turned off the gas and electricity to the unit and let it stand for a while then I relit the pilot and turned on the electric. Nothing changed. The polit is on and the burner will not ignite. The furnace clicks wheni turn up the thermostat as it normally does. But the burner never comes on.
You need a new gas valve.you also have a Coleman Evcon Furnace which is a two stage furnace. When you replace the gas valve also install a new pilot assembly. The parts are still under warrentty
This is a mobile home. And I am not sure about the two stage or not.
