    Change Word Processor Language?
My computer came loaded with Vista Classic in Spanish. Is there a way I can change the language on "word processor" to English? Failing that can I turn off the auto correction on "word processor"?

To change the display language in Vista:

    1. Open Regional and Language Options by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking Clock, Language, and Region, and then clicking Regional and Language Options.
    2. Click the Keyboards and Languages tab.
    3. Under Display language, choose a language from the list, and then click OK.

Thanks. I set it to US English but the spell check function in word processor still corrects for Spanish. Maybe Iīm missing something.

    Hmm... try:

    1. Click the Microsoft Office Button
    2. Click Word Options
    3. Click Proofing
    4. Root around in there and see if you can find where the language default and/or languages used by Word are set.

Wow, Microsoft Office is the catīs meow! It can be set to proof in many languages and even to auto detect the language. Great tip, thanks.
