    Weird situation
OK so there was this girl that I liked and I asked her out she said she would go out with me after homecoming because she was already asked by someone else. But she told him that theyd go just as friends. So I heard from one of her friends(not a very close one but still) that she wasn't sure about her feelings. So I decided id give her some space and so I didn't talk to her too much for a few days. So then yesterday her like best friend asked me about it and she told me that this girl told her that she liked me but I told her about after homecoming and she kept telling me to ask her now... and stuff so I'm wondering should I ask her now or should I wait until after homecoming just to be sure

Follow your heart. Since you told her after homecoming and she said okay then if I were her I'd be expecting you after homecoming. But if it looks like she's into you. Just talk to her, beat around the bush a little. Be like" hey so what are you going to do for homecoming?" ask her questions but not too much... if all else fails go to homecoming you might see her there and she might need a dance partner :)

It's okay to ask her out before homecoming. You guys can be casually dating and you can choose to make it exclusive after homecoming. Ask her if you want to, don't rely too much on what people tell you, and don't overanalyze things. To tell you the truth, your situation isn't too common but it has happened quite a few times to friends of mine. It's not too complicated really.

if it's her best friend you have nothing to worry about. When they've been best friends for a while, they get comfortable as friends. And even if they started going out, it's usually not that different from being friends and they will tend to break off. And you're not accusing anybody of lying either. There's nothing wrong with asking her! So don't act like you're committing a crime =]
