No water coming from rim of toilet bowl
We have a Kohler K-3414-PB toilet. A new complete Fluidmaster kit was installed to solve a running problem. Now, no water swirls around the bowl from the rim. It goes directly to the drain. Any ideas on a solution.

Here is what Kohler has to say about that model, skip to page 7 and read about the rim holes cleaning. Debris may have gotten into the rim, a coat hanger can be used to poke the holes open. http://www.us.kohler.com/onlinecatalog/pdf/111784_2.pdf

Follow Bobs advice and use a coat hanger to clear the rim holes,( they start the swirling action)> If you can't clear the holes that way you will have to remove the tank and check the rim space for debris. Shut the water off and unhook the supply. Let the water out of the tank sand remove the three tank bolts, (see image) and lift the tank off. Now check the rim opening for trash using a coathanger with a hook on the end. Let me know what you find.

    Good luck, Tom
