I rent owner and maintenance can't find were the filter goes or if it has one. Its an armstrong air ultra V. the label says change filter so it has to have one but they did not change it and this will be the 3rd year here and I'm worried its going to cause my family to get sick or worse if the filter is never changed. Can someone tell me were the filter is suppose to be at?? Please help . Thank you... [email protected]

A filter can be located anywhere in the return air duct. There is no special place. Look in the return air filter grill if your system has a large central air return or along the return air duct near the furnace. Sometimes they are located right inside the furnace on the return air side. You have to remove the door in the furnace blower motor area.
