Why do guys stare at girls? Also can you please answer, How do I start talking to a guy who I haven't spoken to,and stares at me? His stared at me for over a year,but I've seen the girls he dates and I'm not like one of them but my mate said that he goes for personality,please help I would love to speak to him!! :o

Natural. If guys are looking at you then that is a good thing (most cases). You have nothing to lose, so introduce yourself and see where that leads.

Guys look at girls, girls look at guys. Obviously you were looking at him too, otherwise you wouldn't have noticed him looking at you. ;)

Just go up to him and say hi, then wait and see what happens. :)

A scientific answer would be - guys are visually stimulated, girls are emotionally stimulated. It all boils down to that.

Yeah, we all love a good backrub, but for guys it starts with visual stimuli.

It's not necessarily a compliment that a guy is staring at you. It's just nature at work. The compliment comes from something he DOES. Staring doesn't really count.

If all he does is stare and all you do let him stare, then there's nothing going on here.

Meanwhile, catch his stare next time, look back and smile, don't look away.

Guys stare at girls because there is some feature that they are attracted too. It might be a physical attribute, might be clothes, might be personality. But more often than not it's visually oriented.

Girls also do the same with guys as well. JB said the reaons perfectly..

Hehe... maybe girls stare at guys, too... but the difference is this:

A guy stares at a girl thinking: "Oh, she's hot. I like that. I could do her. When's lunch?"

A girl stares at a guy thinking: "Oh, he's hot. I wonder if he likes me. What's he thinking? Am I fat? Oh my god, oh my god..."

A guy Will stare and say "Wow she's hot, I hope she doesn't catch me looking, crap she caught me. Look away Rome, look away! Why am I still looking!"
