    questions
What will grow under a tree?
We have a large Black Walnut tree in our neighbors yard but on the fence line to our house. We are trying to plant something to block our view of their house but it needs to be able to compete with the tree roots. Is there any way to plant or any other design ideas to help us block the view?
    Thank you,
    Janice

Lilac bushes are very hardy and durable. Rose bushes the climbing ones. Wood vine it will grow almost anywhere and is a pain to kill very durable. Grape vine is also durable.

Hey, if lilacs will grow anywhere, why can't I grow one. And no, I do not put hot sauce on them.

Mag, do you need the hot sauce?

Lilacs are wonderful, butterfly bushes are great also and grow to be 4 to 6 feet tall

Rose of sharon. They grow pretty quick and flower for quite some time, and get dense.
