My computer audio mixer could not be initalized .

Let me know how to rectify.

Any changes that either happened or that you perhaps made to your computer around the time that the problem started; particularly any software or hardware that you installed or setup.

When do you get this message?

Check device mgr for any yellow marks

Right click on My computer and choose properties and then the hardware tab and device mgr.

If yellow mark next to audio device, right click on it and choose uninstall and say OK

No close open windows and restart computer

Windows will attempt to install driver on boot, check sound when back in windows
