I am in a jail ministry and would like to help a few inmates who would like an education but have no funds.

I am an ex-inmate. I was released in 2001 and still cannot even get a job at walmart because of one mistake. Other than this charge I had never had a speeding ticket, no juvenille record, A student all through school... did not know about what a felon on my record would do, and only represented by a public defender and was told that if I didn't take the plea that I was looking at 12 years! He just wanted an easy out for the case. Now I am the mother of two, and no way to support myself... if anyone knows of any place that does help with employment, please contact me [email protected]
How are you suppose to re-entry society and be upstanding if they keep knocking you off your feet... and yet they can't understand why so many people end up back in prison... its cause they have to resort to criminal acts to feed and cloth themselves... I paid my dues to society for being in the wrong place with the wrong people, now all I want is to pay my bills!!
