    tickle

random chick it isn't a water infection, it is either a bladder infection or a urinary tract infection and from the sounds of it it has gone too far if you are feeling cold, have shivers, etc. Go to the doctor and have it taken care of before you get really sick.

You don't have to drink anyone's water to get this. It could be a hygiene problem or you are just susceptible to urinary track infections. My suggestion, as above, see a doctor and start drinking a lot of cranberry juice.

Yes, it could be either, that is what I said. Get yourself to a doctor quickly.

If you are running a fever, shivering, and your back hurts, you most likely have a kidney infection. Time to run, not walk, to the doctor to get on some antibiotics.

The kidneys are toward your back and they are what rid your body of toxins. There are 2 types of urinary tract infections:

    Lower UTI: Bladder infection
    Upper UTI: Kidney infection

Many common antibiotics can take care of this whichever the case.

The last time I had the UTI the doctor said it was upper but I have kidney failure running through my family. Would this be more dangerous for me to have UTI

Yes, this could be more dangerous. A kidney infection left untreated can cause permanent damage. This is why I say run, don't walk, to your doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment.

As stated, there are 2 distinct types of urinary tract infections, upper and lower.

How can you tell if it is a kidney infection? Your doctor will need to do a urine analysis and determine what kind of bacteria is present as well as your symptoms.

The medications can be different depending on the type of bacteria present as well as whether you have any allergies.
