    Becoming a tax preparer
How do you become a tax preparer?
Do tax preparers make good money?

Tax preparers are usually accountants with training in specific tax laws. If you are going to do it for the money, I suggest you take some classes.

You need to pass some state tests, become bonded. There are some online courses.

I know.. I am taking the courses right now. But is it a good paying career?
    Is it worth the trouble?

It is worth it if you have good clientle base. Its getting that. I became licensed and bonded but then I decided that I didn't want to have people come to my house and I didn't have an office they could come to. Building the client list will be the biggest challenge, but I think the money is worth it.
