    Throat/Ear issues
Ok no idea where to begin as I am so feed up with doctors. First I have seen many physicians to sum it up 2 primary physician, ent, cardiologist, neurologist, eye doctor, urologist and I think I am missing 1 or 2.

My problem is the gland under my right ear and behind my jaw is swollen, hard, and painfull, also the gland on my left side is beginning to hurt now. I also feel a lump(would say about the size of a marble) under my jaw around where my wisdom tooth would be and I have had a sore throat for 2 years now along with other issuse such as headache, jaw/ear pain, blurred/dizzy vision, feels as if there is something in my throat and constant fatigue

I have gone for many test echo, edg, mri/ct of my head not neck, tonsillectomy, wisdom teeth removed, I have had more bloodwork done then I can remember, been to the emergency room 3 times. The only thing they found was white legions on my brian and tested me for MS but was negative and they think its from my headache's and I have heard my doctor say something about high white blood cell count once then never talked about it again

Everyone tells me its in my head and there is nothing wrong and they only treat my symptoms and put me on welbutrin but I have had no change and it just seems to get slowly worse over time. So I have no idea what to do and any info or a point in the right direction would be great

    Do you run a fever?

What did the physicians say to you?

Do you live a risky life style?

Do you run a fever? No

What did the physicians say to you? Nothing as they have no idea what's wrong everything they test me for comes back negative

Do you live a risky life style?

Ya forgot to add that I'm 27 years old, may drink 2-3 times a year and an ex smoker.

I use to work out and was in great shape but since my medical problems I have been unable to due to every time I try to work out I get dizzy and have to stop or I will black out and now I am almost 300lbs and I use to be 204 which was average for my body size

I guess you know I have to tell you that you are focusing on the wrong health issue which is minimal compared to your problem with morbid obesity. Don't avoid the main problem; you are only 27 and could have an active happy life going forward.

Get help so you can tackle your obesity... therapist, life coach, dietitian, whatever it takes. You may have to lose unhealthy people in your life.

    Best wishes, :)

Yes I am aware of this but prior to my health issues I was only about 10lbs over wieght which wasn't bad. I was 204lbs @ 6' 4" and I have a large skeletal structure and I played a lot of sports. I don't eat bad I drink a lot of water every day and if I drink soda its diet other then that I eat a lot of veggies and avoid red meat and its not a thyroid problem

That's not so bad as I thought, but it is bad.

You have to make a *decision* to accept the physicians advice and forget about your swollen glands and put an effort into making a good life for yourself.

    That's my opinion.
