    Winter Blues
If I had my way I would want to pull the blankets over my head until springtime. I hate the time change and also that the sun has played hide but no seek during this past week. I suffer from Asperger's syndrome, depression, and PTSD. Nothing I can do about the weather but if anyone can give me ideas so I don't stay home more then I have to I would greatly appreciate it. I hate living alone. But I am too much a private person that living with someone is out of the question. Anyway this is how I feel most days... :(

Even if it's overcast, it's good to go outside and look at the sky. Letting natural daylight into your eyes can help. Do you have a counsellor or doctor who is aware of the difficulties you experience when the dark season comes around?

Medication may be indicated, just during the fall and winter. In addition to light therapy, there is also dark therapy. It can't hurt to educate yourself about both.

All the conditions you listed can be worsened when the light is diminished and we tuck into the couch and computer chair and invite blue light into our eyes. In fact, I'm making myself go outside now.

I think it is a good idea to go for nice walks. It is nice and cool so you won't get too hot. Breathe in the clean air... and get good cardio while you're at it. I need to start walking :)
