I don't know much about the film, but what I can say is it's about this kid and this man most likely the father of the kid and the kids about 3 or 4 years old there is this scene where the kid walks out of the bathroom and the father sees like a dead hand on the kids back as he walks out and the dad quickly grabs the hand and flushes it down the toilet. The fim also ends with the dad trying to look for the kid around the house and eventually ends us climbing through the bathroom mirror finding the kid in a cage floating in some swamp looking place. From what I remember I think it was made in the 80's or maybe the 70's. If anyone can help that would be great thanks.

I was going to say that, but I thought the kid was missing through the whole movie... I thought the post said boy was missing at the end... cheesy movie, but loved it!
