I just had a company put in a York 13 SEER 2 ton Split System Heat Pump (model: (Z)THGD24S21S1A). I currently have a Honeywell Vision PRO 8000 (model: TH8320U1008) which worked great with my old system. It is only 2 years old and the company put a cheaper York thermostat on the new heat pump until I could find the directions for the Honeywell because they believe it may not work with the York.

Does anyone know if the unit I just had put in will work with the Honeywell Vision PRO 8000.

It will work. Go to the Honeywell website and download the installation instructions for the thermostat and read them. It's in there.
