Most of my favorite movies are at least 20 years old. I really like Citizen Cane, High Society, Whatever Happened to Baby Jane? Vertigo, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (1920 silent version with John Barrymore), BoysTown, It's a Wonderful Life, Captains Courageous, Wuthering Heights, The Innocents, Quatermass and The Pit, The Wicker Man, Bride of Frankenstein, the original Star Wars Trilogy, The Effect of Gamma Rays on Man-in-the-Moon Marigolds, Barbarella, Logan's Run, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, The Day the Earth Stood Still, Forbidden Planet, Coming Home, The Deer Hunter, Apocalyse Now, Taxi Driver and Ordinary People.

For more modern movies, I like the Austin Powers series, and the trilogy by Indian-Canadian director Deepa Mehta (Fire, Earth, Water). Also pretty much anything directed by David Cronenberg, John Carpenter, Atom Egoyan, or David Lynch. I'm really into foreign films, especially Asian and British. Just a couple of days ago I saw Me Without You, a British film which I highly recommend to anyone who can find it. Jake's Progress, which is a British miniseries, is also really good. Julie Walters, who plays Mrs. Weasley in the Harry Potter series, is one of the main characters in it and has a large role.

Resivor Dogs- I just like it when someone loses an ear! Plus, Quenten Tarantino is one straight up kick in the ***!

Four Rooms- I love it when someone finds a dead hooker under their bed while they are trying to put it out!- Quentin Tarruntino at work!

Bar Fly- Micky Rourke is just too cool for Hollyweird! "Ya, I like cops, I just like em a lot better when they aint around."

Austin Powers RULES! When Austin was trying to get ahold of MiniMe in his space suit I got light headed from laughing too hard.

Demonspeeding, if you liked House of a 1000 Corpses, did you also like The Devil's Rejects? I thought it was quite good. I'm surprised actually at what a good director Rob Zombie is. He's quite talented in many respects.
