    Giving up rights of child to father
    Mother wants to give up rights to father of the child I can't afford to support baby on my own how do I go about doing this, I live in Wisconsin.

    You go to court and file for custody and support. Simple as that she can't just sign away her rights any more than the hundreds if not thousands of bio dads would be able to. It just isn't that easy.

    Yes, the father can file for custody and get full custody. But you are not going to get her to sign over all rights.

    It has all the appropriate forms for you to download and fill out. You can also call the clerk of courts and ask which form you'll need; they vary depending on if you already had an agreement in place through the court.

    You need to submit the form to the court for approval before anything is put through legally.
