How does relocation or witness protection work by the met police due to a violent and threatening ex partner? I live in south east london, love my flat, its council. But a really nice victorian masoinette, however, due to my ex raping me and also hitting me and threatening to kill me I have been told by the police I have to move. They want to speak to my council. Just worried I am going to be put in a rough estate etc when I now live in a lovely home. Please tell me if you have been through police relocation? Thanks

I don't live in England but may I make a suggestion to the police? Put the EX in jail and have him relocated to some nice prison cell far away.
