Hi everyone l have a 5 month old Maltese she likes to bury her nose into the dirt, eats grass. I was wondering is this a puppy thing, cause l don't think Maltese are known for digging into the grasss than sticking there noses into the dirt.

Yes it is a puppy thing. She could be hunting voles under your lawn. Dogs can hear way better than we can and when your that low to the gound I bet you don't miss any sound. The grass eating is normal, dogs like the fresh young grass in spring it is full of vitiams and is sweet. As long as she isn't eating the dirt don't worry about it.

OH the maltese like to dig their nose into it hehehehe LOL ;)
