Yiou had to turn off the wter to replace heater. When you returned the shut-off valve to the ON posision are you sure it is set to the maximum ON posisition. Water main vlaves, for example, turn only 90 degrees and you can easily overturn the valve so that it is near the OFF position again.
Hi Char,
Do you have a pressure loss over the entire house of just one faucet? Is the pressure loss on hot, cold or both? If it's just one faucet I'll need the brand name and its age. Good luck, Tom
First, do the easy thing:
Since you replaced heater, you most likely shook with pipes releasing sediment. Go to each faucet, remove aerator and clean it. (aerator is the removable tip on your faucet ). Also, remove shower heads and clean it under hose outside...
( Central Point ? :-D )
Hello Char,
Please respond to Tom's qestion and fallow Milo's instruction remove and clean the Aerators and the shower head hope this will help, see the image below, good luck.
John
If it is only on hot side than hot water begins with water heater. Go to the heater and make sure all valves on the heater are open.
Hey Char,
Milo gave you such good advice let me repeat it,If you have pressure on the cold side but the gage doesn't show it then the gage's faulty and should be replaced.Quote:

This hot water loss. Is it just one faucet or is it the entire house. Let me know, Tom
All faucets, but of course we notice it the moxt in the shower. LOL
Thanks Char :o)
If your new heater has heat trap nipples, (see image) check the one coming out of the hot side fof the water heater or a blockage or to make sure it's installed correctly. Regards, Tom
We have switched the shower head, put a new tub faucet, and the aerators, bled the lines, valves are on correctly. We have checked the water heater before but may be we missed something. Thanks Char :o)
