Hi There,

Does anyone know how I can fix the alarm problem in my Honda Civic and what code to enter the radio? Here is what is happening:

The alarm in my 2006 Civic goes ON about 5 to 10 min after I lock the car. After I stop it with the remote key, the "lock" button in the remote key looses activation and does not respond. The automatic open and close of the left door window also stops working. Yesterday I umplugged the battery hoping to reset the computer mudule and the window started to work again. However, the alarm went ON again and the window stopped working again. Oh, by the way, now my radio is asking me to enter a code and I do not know what to enter...

I was able to get the code from Honda and the radio is working now. However, I still have the alarm issue. I would appreciate any help...

I have similar problem to yours on my Honda so I would like to know if you found the solution...

On my car, alarm turns on by itself a few hours after I lock the car and after I unlock the car with the remote alarm turns off. After that I must open and close the hood If I want to lock the car properly.

I am not sure if I have resolved the issue yet but it is OK for now. I had to take it to Honda and they discovered that one of the connectors inside the door was broken. I changed the wiring harness and it is working so far...
