Hello. I've got a gas Pennco boiler 16 series for radiator heat in my home. The thermostat will not get above 60 degrees even with the thermostat calling for heat for a setting high of 64 Degrees. The boiler cuts off at 60. Where should I be trouble shooting? The boiler or the thermostat? Thank you.

If you jump the thermostat out of the circuit the temperature should go up since the thermostat as a control will be removed temporarly from the system. If the temperature does not go up then it will be a boiler problem.

Usually the R and W wires that go to the thermostat.

I have 4 wires. B & W go to thermostat and the R & G are taped off not connected. Which wires should I use to Jump?

The B and W,, just tie them together,, if boiler heats the house without cutting off,you will know the boiler is OK and the tstat needs replacing
