    What is the procedured for bad checks


    What do happens to people who write bad checks not intentionally bank fees and there fees killed me what happens in court

    It might help is you explain the circumstances in more detail.

    Lots of people don't balance their checkbooks properly and bounce a check from time to time. Generally, the bank notifies you that the check bounced and charges you a fee. You notify the payee and tell them you will be replacing the check. They probably will require that you reimburse them for any fees they incurred by depositing a an NSF check. You then deposit the funds to cover the check and rewrite it and send it to the recipient. Depending on your history with the payee, they may require that you use a money order or certified check.

    Rarely is there criminal actions taken in such a circumstance.
