    Signing over my parental rights
How would I go on about signing over my parental rights as a mother without having to pay childsupport?

Just get the custody parent to have a new spouse who wants to adopt, then when you sign over your rights to allow them to adopt your child support stops.

Beyond that you are not going to just sign over your rights, you don't have to use those rights. You just don't ever see the child.

Depends. Who are you wanting to sign the rights over to? If you want to let someone adopt them, then you will not have to pay any support. If you have any questions, I'd be glad to try and help you! You can emai lme at EMAIL REMOVED FOR PRIVACY

Make sure this is definitely what you really want... I did the same thing, and I regret it every single day since, and its been almost two years.

I moved this to the Family Law forum. If you browse this forum, you will find a sticky that discusses this as well as hundreds of other threads.

Getting a Termination of Parental Rghts (TPR) is very difficult. It has to be granted by a court and courts are very reluctant to grant TPRs. Generally they will grant them only to clear the way for an adoption. Or if the parent represents a danger to the child. They will not grant one just to let the parent out of paying support.
