    Reinstall operatin system
    I have a dell 4400 it shows that I need to reload op system I have a old cd with I loaded then it ask fro a cd-ram disk thak I do not have any help you can give me.

    The RAM drive is a temporary drive created by an installation program. It's normal and it's only temporary.

    I tried again and it gave me this error d:\1386\asms

    Are you using an XP CD direct from Microsoft?
