    Reading into it too much?
I actually had a decent conversation with my ex the other day about our dog. She called me honey twice during the conversation. Is this habit or am I reading into it too much?

Reading into it too much... you are already thinking about it as if you want to get back together with her. Do not let this set you back to square one. Get your mind right and keep all emotion out of this, for your own sake.

I guess I'm asking from a pyschological point of view. I'm close to being where I need to be... just wondering.

"Honey" is a term of familiarity. All it means is "I'm comfortable talking to you". It also means... uh... nothing else. Yep, that's it.

As JB said it's a term of familiarity , don't fall into the "False hope" hole.

It's over you must accept it. For all you know she's saying it to see what your response is and if she can still pull any strings with you.

Are you sure she mean't you, and not the dog??

Doesn't matter, your reading way too much into it, no matter whom she mean't.
