Bankruptcy-Chapter 7 in Virginia
1. Can you file chapter 7 on personal property tax to a locality like a city?
2. Can you file chapter 7 on state debts, I did it once 20 years ago to the state and it was discharged? Now I owe about a $1000 to the va unemployment commission.
3. Can you file chapter 7 on back taxes owed the IRS from taxes filed four years ago?
No I can not afford an attorney before some state see one. Thinking about filing chapter 7 myself. I used to be a paralegal and I understand the paper work.
But the filing on the taxes and state debts I am confused on. Can you help?
