My Puppy won't eat! Any ideas?
Help, my 14 week old puppy is not eatting. He is still drinking water but will not eat anything. Any ideas of what would get him to start eatting again?
    Thanks

This could be very simple or it could be big, you really need to talk to your vet asap to find out

He may not like his food. I have a very picky dog and she has been that way since she was tiny, very finicky. If she doesn't want the food she won't pay any attention to it. Sometimes she will go a whole day without eating so I give her some treats to get something in her stomach, she's just really not big on food. My dog really doesn't like lamb, so maybe your dog doesn't like the flavor of a food so try chicken or duck instead.

The extreme is he may have something like parvo which is a very serious disease- something he can pick up from other dogs if he has been around them and has not had his shots yet. If he is throwing up this should be a worry.

You really need to talk to your vet though. Let us know what happens!

He hasn't had his shots and parvo was what I was thinking it could be, but normally wouldn't he be throwing up blood? Because he hasn't done that yet. I will be taking him to the vet tomorrow. Thanks so much!

Vomiting and diahrea are symptoms of parvo, but aren't always there until close to the end.
Also, even if your dog hasn't been around other dogs with parvo, if your dog has simply been around fecal matter of an infected dog, possibly other fluids, this can cause the infection.
Good luck, and let us know how your pup is doing.
