    Sinister synonyms:
Baleful, apocalyptic, corrupt, dark, despicable, devilish, diabolical, dire, disastrous, dishonest, evil, forbidding

Sometimes it is best to use non-"smarty words." Just saying it is best.

Try comparing the person's appearance to something everyone recognizes through metaphor or analogy.

Try dogs: a pug, a bulldog, a pit bull, a rottweiler?
Other notoriously "mean" looking animals? Shark? Lion? Gorilla? Centipede? Chupacabra?
Inanimate objects? A gnarled tree stump? A rusted faucet?

    Hope that helps some.

The quote below is from the following search and subsequent site.

Angry Looking Cross-eyed - Google Search

    PEP Web - Micropsia

    Quote:

When the patient became angry with her sister she often expressed her rage by looking crosseyed...
    [Emphasis in italic added.]

    The keyword above is crosseyed.

It can also be spelled, cross-eyed and just cross eyed.
