I missed my period for 3 months and all of a sudden yesterday I had this brown, stringy discharge on the tp. It wasn't even enough to soak a light tampon. My fiancé and I have been trying to conceive for 3 months, but since the lack of a period, my doctor said I wouldn't be able to get pregnant. With my first pregnancy, I was in the early stages and I had implantation bleeding. I was wondering if I could be pregnant, and how long should I wait to take a test?

Well, usually its recommended until the first day of your missed period. But since you've missed 3 months (I'm assuming in a row) I guess you could take one any time. Did the doctor look into why you're missing your period? That's what would be concerning me the most, personally
