My ex is a sex affender and he wants to take the kids to a park who is doing a halloween thing for the kids. So who do I call when he does this anyway? The man thinks he should do what ever he wants just because he is off probation. Its really hard trying to talk to him, I have no respect for him. Really I'm done talking to him about it. Can anyone help me and my child on this?

Are your kids safe with him? Is he allowed to be in vicinity of other children? If not to either, then I would call the police and ask their advice. The police enforce the laws of our society and if your ex is breaking any, they will arrest him.

If you believe he is a danger to children, please, please call the police and explain the situation to them; even if he is not breaking any conditions of his release. The police I would imagine would love to keep an eye on him for you.

Some sex offenders have NO restrictions. Others have LOTS. You need to find out exactly WHAT restrictions your ex has. Otherwise you're going to cause trouble where none needs to be caused... Or you won't cause trouble when you should.

So, not knowing ain't good.

Would I call the police for advice?? Nope. His ex probation officer might be of assistance, though.
