My best girl friend is addicted to sex and cigarettes
I don't have very many girl friends, I guess I'm a tomboy. But my best girl friend is starting to make me feel uncomfortable and worried. She recently lost her virginity to a guy who already had a girlfriend, so he was cheating on his girlfriend with my friend. Ever since she lost her virginity, she's been having sex ALLL the time, WITH MULTIPLE PARTNERS. She even LOOKS like a hooker now...

Recently, she was bragging how she did it with a man 7 years older than her and she was kicked out of her house for acting how she is now. She even called me the other day and asked me to buy her cigarettes since I'm 18 now. I don't know... she's become someone I don't like...

Have you tried talking to her about it? Try telling her that you are concerned about her and her behaviour and that she is going to get a bad name for her self and bad names stick

I've kind of talked to her about it. I basically said she's making herself look (if not becoming) a whore and she just laughed and doesn't seem to think it's a big deal. That's her personality...

Well the only other option is to let her realise on her own.
Walk away tell her until she realises the way she is acting is wrong not to contact you
If you don't like the person she is turning into and you telling her you think she's a whore didn't work then leave her to it
She'll wish she listened to you
Maybe not today but 1 day

Do what you can for her, and if that doesn't work, get away. You sound like a good, responsible, intelligent person... So, you probably won't get sucked into her life style. However, having it around can still be dangerous. You even said that she has become a person you don't like. Just stop being around her. People change, some for the worst. All we can do is talk to them, and try to help them. If that doesn't work, we can hope the person will make better decisions.

As she is one of your best friends, I know it can be hard to do, but what else is there? Hopefully a few other AMHD members can suggest some alternatives that I don't see...

    Good luck,
And update us on the situation
