Okay but the people that were assaulted did not want to charge me but the cop did and all that happened was I beat up a door and scared my buddy with a pocket knife and he did the same thing to me write after and he accidentally got a little tiny surface cut behind his ear... he knew it was an accident but anywayz so I got charged with assault with weapon,aggravated assault and mischeif under 5000$ and it will be my first time in court will I get time?

Then you take your buddy to court with you and he says... "i do not want to press charges..."

Get an attorney for this. He can possibly get the charges reduced to a misdemeanor such as disorderly conduct versus aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. You did after all draw blood on this guy, so they are out for blood from you (so to speak). If you don't get an attorney, you'll do time - how much is anyone's guess. It's irrelevant if your friend does not want to press charges once it's gone to the DA the state takes over the case and prosecutes accordingly. You'll have to pay for the door repair regardless and a fine as well for disorderly conduct and probably a year's probation.
