    Clicking in furnace
I have a carrior furnace that goes on OK but when it shuts off and tries to go on again it has a sound like a relay clicking. I] there's a little board on the side of the motor not the blower motor on the bottom but the smaller blowere on top. If I tap this board then I get inisition and the furnace goes on again until it gets to the temp. turns of then I have to go back downstairs and tap that board again. I open the board and it looks like there's 4 resistors and what looks like a relay. Do I replace the whole board or can I solder out the old really and put in a new one. Or is this not the problem. Thanks

If the board is the problem then replacing the board is in order. Most of these type of relays cannot be found in a radio shack or other parts store.
