The first day of my last period was Monday October 6, 2008. It ended Thursday the 9th at which point in time I put in my Nuva Ring. Now this is my very first time using Nuva Ring! Then my brilliant other half decided that since I am on the Nuva Ring it was just fine to do what he wanted without asking... if you catch my drift! And that was on the 20th!! Oh I could have smacked him! I never mentioned anything to him and then yesterday he said something about how dark my nipples have gotten! I was like whoa whoa whoa... are you serious? So I was just wondering after playing with all sorts of due date and conception calculators that says I am 3 weeks pregnant (so confusing) but only one week along? I took the Nuva Ring out as soon as he made the comment about my nipples, just in case, so is it too soon to take a test?

Nuva Ring releases a hormone into your system, your dark nipples may be a result of the Nuva Ring as it is trying to fool your body into thinking it's pregnant.

If you do a search on the internet about Nuva Ring and nipples you will find other women complain about sore nipples while on Nuva Ring, etc.. I don't know if the condition is permanent or it just happens to new users.
