Can't Figure where 99 Lincoln that is leaking From?
I have a 1999 Lincoln Towncar that is leaking water into the interior but we can't figure where it is coming from. I have had the bottom plugs sealed up with silicone and had it dried out once. We found that the floorboard plugs were out so figured that was how the floorboard became wet the first time so we got it all dried out and sealed the floor plugs with silicone so they wouldn't come out again.
Now three weeks later, I find that the floorboards have water in them again! When I notice this yesterday, it came to my attention because the windshield had dew all over it at 1:00 p.m. in the afternoon, but it was all on the inside of the windshield. I opened the car and looked all around to see if I could tell where it might be leaking but the seats were completely dry and the dash was dry as far as I could tell. The only place wet was on the floorboards mainly on the passenger side. Does anyone have any idea of what we need to check for next?? Thanks:(:(:confused::confused:
