Traveling outside of the country without the probation officers permission
What are the possible consequences of traveling to Jamaica, without consent from the probation officer? My boyfriend did this, now he has a court date for Friday and we are both very scared. Has anybody been through something similar?

Very likely being set to prision to serve his sentence, if he was given 3 years probation instead of 3 years in jail, he gets to go to prison for 3 years perhaps.

Sorry to late to be scared, he had a choice to get permission or not to go, he knew the rules, he decided that he could do what he wanted ( showing he did not care to listen) This is going to be very bad is my guess

It's not going to be more probation that's for sure. He should have gotten written permission to leave the country. If he failed to even bother getting permission, the judge is not going to like this deception on your friend's part. I'm with Chuck on the spend more time in jail.
